Global Health Volunteer Program
At each of our medical project sites, we are pleased to host individuals and groups throughout the year for volunteer medical mission trips. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, from college students to medical professionals. Volunteers generally travel for periods of one to three weeks, though we are glad to accommodate longer-term placements. We maintain staffing at each site devoted to leading volunteer activities, so all volunteers have the opportunity to work side-by-side with staff members and medical professionals who work on the front lines of providing health care to communities in need.
Volunteers are provided with housing and transportation for the duration of their mission trip. All volunteers gain direct clinical exposure and also venture into the community to promote preventative health education.
The following are the steps to planning a medical mission trip:
- Click the "Where We Work" tab to browse available locations.
- Decide when you would like to travel. Spaces tend to fill up fast during our peak seasons, so we recommend booking at least two months in advance. Our programs run during all weeks of the year, so availability depends entirely on when, where, and for how long you are interested in traveling.
- Read all applicable sections of the Volunteer Program page, including the FAQ.
