2008-2009 highlights:

• Set up posters and provided refreshments at a campus-wide event to generate interest and recruit new members
• Went trick-or-treating for donations on Halloween, dressed in Mustangs Without Borders t-shirts. Handed out flyers to raise awareness of international children’s health
• Hosted a day of volunteering at a local charity to sort and pack donated shoes to be sent to children in need
• Held monthly general meetings to plan future events and fundraisers
• Sent five chapter members on a volunteer mission trip to FIMRC’s clinic site in Costa Rica in May 2009
