2010-2011 highlights:

• Volunteered every other week at the San Antonio AIDS Foundation, a residential facility for people living with HIV/AIDS
• Co-Sponsored a Global Health Awareness Week with the pre-med honor society (Alpha Epsilon Delta) and the American Medical Students Association (AMSA). Showed a documentary about global health issues, and had a guest speaker from the San Antonio AIDS Foundation speak about AIDS in San Antonio
• Held two fundraisers to raise money for the “Adopt-A-Project, Bettering Care for the Community of Limon”. Sold Valentine’s Day cards and made t-shirts to sell, raised approximately $600 in fundraising
